N AN ONGOING EFFORT
to provide health care
the community can trust, Val Verde Regional
Medical Center (VVRMC) has added another three
physicians to its staff.
Olutayo A. Sogunero, DO,
is a General Surgeon who
specializes in women’s health issues. Dr. Sogunero
has received numerous
awards for her skills in
leadership, trauma and
research. She also received
the Tozloski Award for
Distinguished Achievement
and was voted General
Surgery Medical Student of
the Year as a student.
Stacey L. Manion, DO,
specializes in pediatric
medicine. She was in the top
5 percent of her class and has
experience at the Children’s
Hospital of San Antonio. She
will be a pediatric hospitalist
at VVRMC and will also see
patients in the new Pediatric
Clinic. She also received a
TOUCH award for those
involved in community
service and outreach.
Eugene Charles Jagella,
MD,
specializes in geriatric
health. He was on the Dean’s
list throughout his academic
career and is Board-Certified
in Internal Medicine and
Geriatrics. He has extensive
experience in Geriatric Medicine.

Olutayo A. Sogunero, DO,
es una cirujana general que
se especializa en problemas de salud de la mujer. La Dra.
Sogunero ha recibido varios
premios por sus habilidades
en liderazgo, trauma e
investigación. También ha
recibido el Premio Tozloski
por Logro Distinguido y fue
elegida como Estudiante de
medicina de cirugía general del
año cuando estudiaba.
Stacey L. Manion, DO,
se especializa en medicina
pediátrica. Estuvo entre los
primeros 5 porcentajes de
su clase y tiene experiencia
en Children’s Hospital of San
Antonio. Será hospitalista
pediátrica en VVRMC y
también verá pacientes en
la nueva Clínica Pediátrica.
