FALL IS HERE, and with it comes cooler weather
and the hustle and bustle of the holidays fast
approaching. With Thanksgiving around the corner,
we find ourselves expressing gratitude for the year
that has passed and the year ahead.
Having been here for a little over a year,
I am incredibly grateful to be serving this
community. Del Rio has become my home,
and I am proud to be in my position as the
CEO for Val Verde Regional Medical Center
so that I can make a difference in people’s
lives as they seek health care.
We have accomplished a lot over the
last year, and some of those highlights
are in this edition of Keeping Well.
The dedication of the employees and
physicians has allowed us to achieve great
things, including the recruitment of new
doctors and the addition of new technology.
Our next year, and the years to come, will continue
to focus on community needs and improvements
to be consistent with providing health care you can
trust. We are committed to becoming the premier
provider for all your health care needs and will
continue to be focused on our service to you.

LLEGÓ EL OTOÑO, y con él los días más frescos y el ajetreo de
las fiestas que se aproximan. Con Acción de Gracias tan cerca,
nos sentimos agradecidos por el año que pasó y el que nos
espera.
Mi experiencia aquí desde hace poco más de
un año me hace sentir increíblemente agradecida
de poder colaborar con esta comunidad. Del Rio
se ha convertido en mi hogar, y me siento orgullosa
de ocupar el cargo de CEO de Val Verde Regional
Medical Center por la posibilidad de poder marcar
una diferencia en la vida de las personas cuando
necesitan atención médica.
Hemos logrado mucho a lo largo del último año,
y en esta edición de Mantenerse sano incluimos
algunos de los resultados más destacados. Gracias
a la dedicación de los empleados y médicos hemos
conseguido grandes cosas, como la contratación
de nuevos médicos y la incorporación de nuevas
tecnologías.
El próximo año y los venideros, nos encontrarán enfocados
en las necesidades de la comunidad y en mejoras para
continuar brindando el nivel de atención médica en el que
ustedes pueden confiar. Nuestro compromiso es ser el
principal proveedor para todas sus necesidades de atención
médica y nuestra prioridad seguirá siendo el servicio que le
